Kerouac Adventures is a collective dedicated to supporting mental health, wellbeing, and community by hosting transformative experiences that revive, connect, and inspire.

We host spaces where adventure meets reflection, where relationships deepen, and where creativity, physical activity, and connection to nature inspire personal growth and supportive community.

Guided by the values of courage, honesty, inclusion, compassion, and friendship, we collaborate with artists, musicians, therapists, nature experts, and philosophers to offer a diverse range of enriching experiences—from outdoor retreats to creative workshops to transformative courses.

Together, we aim to challenge the conventions of modern life that isolate and stifle - cultivating a way of living that celebrates human worth, sacredness, and the potential for a meaningful life.

The name Kerouac Adventures is inspired by the author, Jack Kerouac: a wild, exciting, profound character of the American Beat Generation who chronicled his adventures with friends in a style we love!

Whilst aspects of Jack Kerouac’s creative life were problematic, we were excited by the questions that he was raising about his struggles with modernity, materialism and conventional attitudes. We feel these questions are just as relevant today as they were in 1950’s and 60s America.

Thus, we saw a need to create safe, positive spaces for men to express their wild and creative sides through a connection to nature and investing in friendships.

It's a stark reality that men are 3x more likely to die from suicide, and 1 in 8 men will experience mental health issues in their lifetime. We believe that early intervention and preventative techniques need to be the first line of defence against this problem.

Kerouac Adventures represents a part of the solution, one which works alongside vital clinical intervention, but doesn't add more strain to our medical professionals. We take a holistic approach to wellness, focusing on physical activity, friendship and connection with nature.

Take long walks in stormy weather or through deep snows in the fields and woods, if you would keep your spirits up. Deal with brute nature. Be cold and hungry and weary.
